 I was 17 years old when I watched the TV title “Emergency Room” for the first time. Obviously, I didn't understand the meaning without Japanese subtitle what actors said.


  And I found the Textbook of radio English program at bookstore to study English again. I was listening it for fifteen minutes after school everyday. Sometime I regret that I didn't try to speak English with Radio programs, My English conversation could be better if I did.

The lesson we don't have to focus on grammar because it is need to learn the colloquial expression. One of the story I liked that a high school student annoyed about his self’s way, he is going to love a girl who working at Restaurant, and his parents have problem about their divorce. The story, we can see many troubles in his life. This story was very popular by women listeners and it was published because of request from them.

 I was listening to this radio programs for three years. The good point of Radio English programs were needs to ready to listen it every specific time. Because we were not able to listen it again any more if we don't miss it. I used a cassette recorder to record but it had not function of timer.


At that time, we couldn't use Internet or i-pod but there is good age for learner now. Because we can listen English programs by these tools where ever we go.
